CHEMCAD is an integrated suite of chemical process simulation software products that is intuitive to use.
With CHEMCAD's powerful programs, you can amplify your organisation's chemical engineering expertise to increase your productivity and profitability.
Ideal tool for users who want to design, rate, study or optimise a chemical process using a full flowsheet simulation in steady state.
Ideal tool for users who want to design, rate, study or optimise a chemical process using a full flowsheet simulation in dynamics.
Ideal tool for users who want to design or rate a heat exchanger or vet a vendor heat exchanger design as well as those who want to perform “what if” calculations on hypothetical situations.
Ideal tool for users who want to design or rate a batch distillation column.
Ideal tool for users who want to design or rate a safety relief piping system or safety relief piping network, including the safety relief device(s), using a full flowsheet simulation in steady state or dynamics.
Ideal tool for users who want to obtain physical property and phase equilibria data for a single component and/or a multi-component mixture.
With CHEMCAD's developed algorithms, you can rely upon your simulation's results computational rigour while dealing with demanding chemical engineering applications.
CHEMCAD's roots can be traced back to 1968. The origin from which CHEMCAD was built - Chemical Engineering Simulation System or CHESS - was developed by Dr. Rudy Motard and Dr. Ernest Henley at the University of Houston.
CHESS was ported to the personal computer (PC) in 1983 and became MicroCHESS until it was renamed CHEMCAD in 1985.
